Jasmine and Daniel, two young students visiting Quebec, happen upon a bistro where a zany chef and an impatient waitress treat them to an experience they won’t forget.
The scripts are in French but written and spoken for beginning level students. The workbook includes the script and activities that promote oral skills and comprehension: pre-reading/viewing, comprehension, and post-reading/viewing.
Episode 4: Daniel and Jasmine are seated at their table in the bistro. Suzette returns with drinks and salads but there are problems with the order. Students will hear and learn expressions that express need (avoir faim/soif/besoin de) as well as vocabulary for utensils and dessert items. (5.30 minutes)
Beginner Level.
