Jasmine and Daniel, two young students visiting Quebec, happen upon a bistro where a zany chef and an impatient waitress treat them to an experience they won’t forget.
The scripts are in French but written and spoken for beginning level students. The workbook includes the script and activities that promote oral skills and comprehension: pre-reading/viewing, comprehension, and post-reading/viewing.
Episode 1: Daniel and Jasmine are two students on a class trip to a French speaking city. They become lost and stumble upon a small bistro named Bistro Escargot where they meet Chef Escargot who speaks only French in his restaurant. Students will hear and learn common greetings and introductions in French, explain they are lost, and how to introduce oneself (nom/âge/je viens de.../je suis en.../je suis...). (6.30 minutes)
