Little Tails of the Unexpected (KS1, KS2) is ideal for use with an interactive whiteboard or a projector. The progressive methodology allows for self-learning and for the non-specialist teacher.
‘Little Tails’ introduces language items through well-known fairy tales, each with an unexpected twist at the end. The stories are divided into ten parts and each part concentrates on a specific curriculum topic. In total 22 topics are covered, (descriptions, numbers, food, greetings, weather, daily routine, hobbies...). The main characters; ‘Cinderella’, ‘The Beast’, ‘The Frog Prince’ and ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ take the learner into the dungeon of a castle where the language is learnt using a progressive learning approach. Pupils therefore have the skills to manipulate language and to form their own sentences.
The language items are:
1. introduced;
2. learnt gradually using speaking, listening, reading and writing skills;
3. practised;
4. put into sentence structures which are then broken down and rebuilt.

In Language Futures (KS4), five cool characters tell us about their home town, their school, their holidays and their lifestyle.
Twenty-four different topics are presented within four units of work. Each topic is broken down into four progressive learning stages. Each stage becomes increasingly more difficult as more complicated structures and vocabulary items are introduced. Pupils' scores, writing and speaking tasks are recorded, giving the pupils and the teacher a record of progress.
There is a grammar focus at each stage and this is reflected in the worksheets. There are over 250 worksheets and flashcards that can be printed from the CD-ROM.
